Setting the Stage…I just got out of bed, trudging my way downstairs to feed Chaos, trying to avoid stepping on her…well…because she’s meowing and doing that kitty kat rub they do when it’s feeding time. Coffee is made, drinking Seattle’s Best #3 this morning because I need that extra boost of Caffeine and then it hit me… “it’s almost the middle of December!” That woke me up faster than any cup of coffee.
Have you ever been stuck in a rut with your creative space? Before I started typing, I was looking at my studio space, then looked at my office space, then looked at Joe’s office space. Holy crap, it’s depressing. It’s no wonder I was in a creative rut. Who could be creative in this space. Ugh!
Spent all day working on a new membership learning site for a drawing course I designed and stopped dead in my tracks to ask myself “Where in the heck has the summer gone???? ”
I’ve been doing this for about 6 months now when I want to mentally create something. Without going deep into science, there is something called Binaural Beats* and it was discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove. It can help with relaxation, clarity and creativity. I’m going to share what works for me.
