What do you do with the left over skins after a paint pour? You can throw them out or re-use them in another piece of artwork…but storing them so they stay flat was a challenge. Maybe this video tutorial will work for you?
If you’re not into creating paint pour wall art, paint skins are great to use in other pieces of art because they are so unique.
In this video lesson, you will learn how to make small art only using a stencil. But to keep things interesting, we’ll experiment with metallics and texture, spice things up with the theme of Day of the Dead and make artist trading cards so you can give or trade them away.
If you’re not sure how to make an Artist Trading Card, here is a free mini class with 2 projects to help get you started.
This project was inspired by my friends Allison and Susan, creating this little mixed media pieces in my journal.
