I’ve been getting a few emails from people asking about all the types of “rose gold” paints I have and this video is to show you the differences between them all.
In this experiment, I’m seeing how far I can push the textured metallic paint through stencils and then another experiment is turning a metallic paint into a chalk finish metallic paint.
ya’ll know I love circles, anything geometric. Well in this video I think I gave myself a headache with the psychedelic stencil I was using! It was an experiment with using two tones of metallic paint.
I’m experimenting (all week) with 2 and 3 tone metallics for a metal piece I’m going to be working on in the future. Prototyping with paint is so much easier, instant results and cheaper if the prototype fails.
So yeah, I was really inspired by some Picasso styled art I was teaching and thought.. hmmmm what if I used a paint pour method to try and create a Picasso abstract. Ok, this does end up turning into something freakish.
What do you get when you mash two master artists together? I love Kandinsky for art featuring circles and Picasso, well it’s really the faces I love.
