ya’ll know I love circles, anything geometric. Well in this video I think I gave myself a headache with the psychedelic stencil I was using! It was an experiment with using two tones of metallic paint.
I’m experimenting (all week) with 2 and 3 tone metallics for a metal piece I’m going to be working on in the future. Prototyping with paint is so much easier, instant results and cheaper if the prototype fails.
So yeah, I was really inspired by some Picasso styled art I was teaching and thought.. hmmmm what if I used a paint pour method to try and create a Picasso abstract. Ok, this does end up turning into something freakish.
What do you get when you mash two master artists together? I love Kandinsky for art featuring circles and Picasso, well it’s really the faces I love.
7 videos of projects that kids, teens and grown ups can do for Halloween & tweak the faces and use the same techniques to decorate ornaments for the holidays.
Although this was just an experiment, you can get so many ideas for a variety of seasons.
