Painting an Orange with Primary Colours

Here’s What I Used

Surface: 4″ x 4″ canvas paper

Palette: DecoArt Americana Premium Acrylics

  • Ultramarine Blue – DTA33
  • Pyrrole Red – DTA06
  • Hansa Yellow Light – DTA18

Prep:

  • DecoArt Americana Premium Medium: White Gesso (optional and for prep only, can’t be used to mix with the primaries)

Non-Brush painting tool: Q-Tip (just one)

General supplies:
-mister bottle
-paper towels
-grey or white palette paper
