A common question that people ask me is how I find time to create and share all the art and techniques that I use or if I have a favourite quick and easy art project they can try.  Or they make a comment that they wish they could find the time to create art, but they are so busy.

My simple answer is “if you want it bad enough, you’ll find the time”.

Cut out 15 minutes of Facebook time, there you go.  You have time to make a quick and easy art project.  Seems simple right?

What about lack of motivation?  play some upbeat music or listen to binaural beats to help jump start the creativity.  Is your creative space inspiring?  Check out 7 Ways to Inspire your Creative Space.

What Makes This a Quick and Easy Art Project?

You’ll be given very few options to make choices which leads to procrastination.  Other than what you’ll use to add colour, you’ll be given everything in a downloadable checklist.

 How to Plan

  • Find a place to create, clear off your table from all distractions
  • On your table,
    • choose one paint colour plus white and don’t over think it, just pick the colour now
    • choose your favorite paint brush
    • pick 3 embellishments, such as buttons, string, tiny sea shell, sea glass.. anything small and only three.  Don’t over think it.
    • get a container of water, paper towels, a glue stick or matte medium and your favourite pen
  • put all of this on your table before you start
  • turn on your favourite music, upbeat is better
