Going into the season, I’m exploring small projects that can be done anywhere such as inside on a rainy day or sitting at your kitchen counter.
If you’ve never created a piece of art in the outdoors, on a hike or just sitting in a park, you don’t know what you’re missing.
You know what turns my crank… hand-crafted journals. I’m blessed with having the biggest inspiration library in the world…Pinterest. But you can get sucked into Pinterest for hours and before you know it, your butt is asleep…
No special tutorial this week…just a bit of reading. I had to write this post due to emails I’m getting from people asking for cheaper substrate alternatives to practice all the art lessons I’ve been giving them.
Can you remember back to the first art project you did? not when you were a child, but as an adult. You were learning something new, nervous not to make any mistakes and probably held the paintbrush a little bit too tight. Come back to present day…taking a look at your art now, what do you think of your older creations? did you keep them as a reminder of where you started?
