In this experiment, I’m seeing how far I can push the textured metallic paint through stencils and then another experiment is turning a metallic paint into a chalk finish metallic paint.
ya’ll know I love circles, anything geometric. Well in this video I think I gave myself a headache with the psychedelic stencil I was using! It was an experiment with using two tones of metallic paint.
I’m experimenting (all week) with 2 and 3 tone metallics for a metal piece I’m going to be working on in the future. Prototyping with paint is so much easier, instant results and cheaper if the prototype fails.
This started out as a stencil review, but thanks to Stencil Revolution, a project Joe and I have been working on (conception started last year) will make the job so much easier.
Have you ever found yourself stuck wanting to create something for someone special and you just didn’t have a clue what to make that was really nice, but quick and easy?
